The concept for my graduate collection is focused on the act of eloping with a particular focus on 60s fashion. I took inspiration from young love and the excitement behind a couple choosing to elope, using youthful fun silhouettes, 60s shapes and a bright colour palette. My modern take on bridal allows a bride to rewear her outfit or mix and match pieces from my collection making it more sustainable, my designs were also mostly made from discarded fabric which was donated to me.
The inspiration for my bridal designs come from my childhood and having the traditional desire for a fairytale wedding and young love. I have worked in the bridal industry with E&W couture in Cardiff for over a year which has definitely strengthened my love for bridal and I aim to continue in this field.
