About Me

My name is Charlotte Ruth Grimsey, I'm a graduate student based in Doncaster. 

I completed my three A Levels, fashion, art and photography in 2020, and recently finished my fashion design degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University. 

Alongside my studies I completed an internship with both E&W Couture and Abigail Walker Lingerie. My 4 week internship with E&W started in April 2022 here I assisted the designer at London Bridal Fashion Week as well as making veils, straps, sewing finishing and other tasks back in the studio. After this experience I was offered a paid position to work alongside my studies which I did until June 2023.    

The internship with Abigail was an opportunity I won though a live brief in October 2022. I worked closely with Abigail creating moodboards, designs and cads for her business. this unfortunately came to an end in March 2023 so that i could focus on my graduate collection.
